Shrewsbury’s established Karate Club – The Shrewsbury Katsu Karate-Do Club has been in Castlefields for over 25 years providing a friendly environment for the young and more mature of all levels of fitness and ability to learn and practice Wado-Ryu Karate.

One of the traditional Karate styles from Japan, this style promotes physical and mental fitness through a semi contact martial art.

Our Instructors
The club has a number of black belt instructors all of which are members of FEKO International - Federation of English Karate Organisations, with many years of experience at teaching at all levels in this Shropshire county town. Our chief karate instructor is Eddie Cox, himself a 5th Dan. In order to work with children our instructors are CRB enhanced checked providing confidence to parents.

Our Club
The Shrewsbury Katsu Karate-Do Club is affiliated to the Katsu Karate-Do Federation and a member of the Federation of English Karate Organisations.

Train with the Shrewsbury Katsu Karate-Do Club and learn new disciplines in a friendly and fun environment – our students develop their confidence, improve coordination and take themselves to a greater level of personal fitness – whilst making new friends.
